Pallet freezing at DGS
We understand like no other how pivotal the freezing process is. Controlled and automatic freezing of complete pallets; that is what DGS’ automated solutions can provide your operation. We provide a fully equipped freezing room. A freezing room where you can efficiently store your pallets in order for them to rapidly cool down.
Our palletising robot lines already start the freezing process when stacking the pallets, by placing a spacer between each layer. The reason for this is that our pallet freezing solutions use cold air to freeze the products. By using these spacers, the cold air can also pass underneath and above the products. As a result, the entire pallet cools down gradually and uniformly. The end result is that the time for the freezing process is halved in this way.
In addition, the pallets are automatically fed using the FIFO principle, which means that each pallet has spent the same amount of time in the freezer. An additional advantage of our pallet freezing solutions is that it can be integrated with your MES system. From your dashboard you can easily see which pallets are being frozen and what their status is.
