De Paauw chooses DGS again: Robot line for baking trays

Sep 3, 2024

We are proud to announce that DGS and Bakkerij De Paauw have once again partnered together. This time, we are delivering an innovative robot line for stacking, buffering, and unstacking baking trays. The new robot line will be integrated into Bakkerij De Paauw’s existing production process, allowing them to work more efficiently with both their current and new baking trays.

Klaas Fuite, owner of Bakkerij De Paauw, is very pleased with the project and comments: “What sets DGS apart is their commitment and the fact that they continuously think along with us. Their ability to be creative within a limited layout and help us make our processes more efficient has once again positively surprised us.”

With the new robot line, Bakkerij De Paauw can stack higher, switch more quickly between different trays, and improve working conditions. The robot line features an automatic transport system that stacks and buffers trays in a storage capacity of up to 1200 trays. The trays can then be easily reintroduced into the production process.

At DGS, we are delighted to contribute once again to the automation of processes at Bakkerij De Paauw and look forward to a successful future for our collaboration.
