Automated pallet labeling
Labeling pallets is an essential step for food companies striving for optimal traceability in their logistic processes. With DGS’s Twaka Software, pallets can be accurately labeled at the order and batch level, enabling tracking through every phase of the process, from production to customer delivery. Additionally, producers can monitor real-time inventory data.
Twaka generates unique labels with information such as product codes, batch numbers, and expiration dates. These labels are then applied to the pallets by the robot, ensuring complete traceability for each shipment. In case of recalls, audits, or inquiries about the origin of products, Twaka provides a fast and effective ERP system to retrieve all necessary information. This allows companies to meet food safety requirements, optimize their logistic processes, and increase efficiency with automated tracing software.

Scanning pallet layers
It is possible to individually scan boxes or crates within a pallet layer, enabling the creation of new pallet manifests. To ensure accurate tracking without being time-consuming, scanning can be automated using our robot. The pallet layer is positioned by transport systems, after which each box or crate can be scanned. This provides precise information on the location of the products on the pallet and within the layer. The systems communicate via an OPC connection to automatically generate the new manifests.

Efficient inventory management
With our ERP software, you can effortlessly optimize your inventory management. Thanks to accurate pallet labeling, real-time inventory tracking is possible. You can also plan your production based on historical data and information. Twaka also offers integration with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), enabling businesses to electronically exchange data with trading partners. By using EDI, companies can communicate more efficiently with suppliers and customers, resulting in faster order processing and improved inventory management.
