Automatic conveyor systems
DGS offers various conveyor systems for cold stores in slaughterhouses: manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated. While it’s possible to manually set up your cold store, with products moved by employees over the rail systems, a (semi) automated setup offers many benefits.
Semi-automatic
Input, and optionally output, through chain transport conveyors automatically delivering products to the correct storage lane. Storage lanes are manual push lanes with switches at the entrance and exit, available in various configurations.
Automatic
Input and output through chain transport conveyors automatically delivering products to the correct storage lane. Storage lanes can be equipped with automatich walking Beams or mini conveyors. Switches at the entrances and exits of the storage lanes are available in different configurations. Automatic rotating arms can be placed on the input and/or output switches to move products across the switch transport.

DGS Rail Systems
DGS offers a comprehensive range of various types of rails to fit under every conveyor. This includes:
Galvanized steel tube rails: available in 1.5″ and 2″ sizes, suitable for the use of roller or slide hooks to move and support products.
Plastic tube rails: available in 1.5″ and 2″ sizes, suitable for roller or slide hooks. These lightweight tube rails provide a durable alternative for various loads.
Bi-Rail (Twin Track): specially designed for the use of B20_B25 trolleys.
Flat Rail: developed for use with flat rail trolleys.
Our rail types can be adapted to current infrastructure and requirements on request. In addition, we offer the option of supplying all rails in stainless steel.
Automatic Conveyor Configurations
In addition to standard overhead conveyors, we also offer automated systems for use in cold stores. DGS’s chain transport conveyors automate the input and output of products, ensuring precise placement on the correct storage lane. Our chain transport conveyors are available in galvanized steel or stainless steel versions. For the storage lanes, we provide walking beams or storage conveyors for the automatic storage of carcasses or products in cold stores. These systems are powered pneumatically, hydraulically, or electrically.
