DGS Open Day Draws Over 1000 Enthusiastic Visitors

Sep 26, 2023

On Saturday, September 16th, DGS participated in the Stepelo – De Greune – Stepelerveld Open Day. It was a day filled with activities and encounters, providing us with the opportunity to showcase DGS in the region. Because what really happens behind our doors? During the Open Day, visitors had the chance to take a peek and discover what we have to offer. And it was a resounding success!

No less than 65 colleagues were ready during the open day to explain to visitors how enjoyable and intriguing it is to work in the food industry. We introduced visitors to technology through various welding workshops, where they could experience a unique way of working with their hands. Of course, there were also delicious snacks and drinks, thanks to the collaboration with THOMS Catering and the entrepreneurial Sprokkereef brothers from Zuivelbroeders.

Onno Lukkien, one of the owners of DGS, was delighted with the great success and the positive responses from visitors. He shared, “It’s fantastic to be able to welcome so many people and show them what DGS does. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback, and that makes us feel good.”

The day was a unique experience for both visitors and employees. Anouk Lentelink, Marketing at DGS, said, “Organizing this event was a challenge, but it was all worth it. I’m immensely proud of our team and the dedication everyone showed before and during the open day. This is what makes DGS special.”

With sunny weather, a high turnout, and a fantastic atmosphere, DGS looks back on a very successful day. We continue to dedicate ourselves to sharing our passion for the food industry with others and look forward to future events and encounters.
